4. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity
We use Google Tag Manager to manage analytics tags. The current container uses Google Analytics 4 for website analytics and Microsoft Clarity for aggregated heatmaps, session insights, and usage patterns.
Google Tag Manager is a tag manager and normally does not set analytics cookies itself. Tags loaded through Google Tag Manager, such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, may use cookies or similar technologies when consent has been granted.
5. Regional Cookie Banner and Consent
For visitors from the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we show a cookie banner before non-essential analytics storage is allowed. If the region cannot be determined reliably, we show the banner as a precaution.
For visitors outside these regions, we do not show the banner by default. Analytics may be active by default unless your browser settings, extensions, or previous preferences restrict it.
Our implementation uses Google Consent Mode v2 and the Microsoft Clarity Consent API v2 to pass consent states to analytics tags.
6. Cookies in the Chatbot Widget
The Mikabot widget may use local storage to maintain a conversation session as a visitor moves between pages. The widget itself does not set marketing or advertising cookies. Store owners who install the widget remain responsible for their own privacy and cookie notices for their visitors.
